Underrated Device 2013: The LG G Flex

LG G Flex

My first submission to the least-appreciated device of this year is the LG G Flex. Not everyone will be thrilled with its all-new form factor. If the idea of a curved device is enough to pique anyone's interest, then it deserves to be in our Underrated 2013 list.

LG G Flex

Retailing for the US equivalent of $940, this unequaled smart device isn't for the budget-conscious, and it isn't going to make your every dream come true either. To most potential buyers, the return investment is pretty low; it's high-end, yea sure, but is it worth paying an extra $300 premium just for the shape? We believe you already know the answer to that, but keep on reading...

No wonder this is an underrated device of the year. The price just doesn't fully justify its majestic-esque physique. Now I just gave you the reason why this belongs to the Underrated Device 2013 category and I'm not going to bore you to death with a strangling review. To conclude this post:

LG G Flex

    PROS
  • Stunning battery life
  • Top-notch performance
  • Flexible screen adds to the phone's durability

    CONS
  • Extremely expensive
  • Camera lacks optical image stabilization (OIS)
  • Self-healing finish needs work

The G Flex is awesome; don't get me wrong. It has lots of unique features that makes it fun and engaging to use, but we can't recommend a curved phone til' the price drops. Which is probably why it hasn't gathered much attention.

Would you buy an LG G Flex smartphone?
