There's no point of having USB 3.0 ports on our smartphones or tablets

    Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 is one of the few smartphones that feature a somewhat unusual USB port on it. It's not a "revolutionary" or a "breakthrough". Quite frankly, it's kind of silly. Having USB 3.0 isn't important on a tablet or a smartphone.

Should you buy it?: Kindle Fire HDX

    It's extremely affordable, and a much capable smaller tablet. The HDX runs a fully-customized version of Android but doesn't have access to the Google Play store, but if you're a regular user of the online retailers, this tablet highlights everything Amazon has to offer.

iPad 'Pro' - a desktop for school kids?

    The fruit-filled news that did the rounds of several months in 2013 is that Apple is planning to release a bigger iPad that embodies a 12.9-inch screen, tailored for the education market.
