    If you were waiting for a new Surface tablet revision to come up and wait for prices to drop, then be ready to be upset, a new-and-improved Surface costs $900! - to make matters worse, this doesn't include the Office suite and other desktop apps. How horrifying.

Underrated Device 2013: The Dell Venue 8 Pro

    Debuted at $300, this little Windows 8 Pro running tablet has since been seen as little as $99 and runs full Windows 8 in a small package. The Operating System is considered crap by many, but it's a fully functional working slate for under $100 dollars.

Windows 8.2 is on the horizon; the Start menu returns




    The first major update to Windows 8, Windows 8.1 brought back the Start button after many complaints. However, its reintroduction failed to mitigate many of the complaints. Windows 8.2 reportedly brings back its dearly departed Start menu.
